As the launch of OnePlus 3 is approaching, more and more details of this flagship device are surfacing online. The OnePlus 3 was spotted on TENAA last week with 4 GB RAM and Snapdragon 820 SoC. Now today, another variant of the OnePlus 3 has made its appearance on the Chinese certifying authority’s website. This variant of OnePlus 3 features 6 GB of RAM.
The model which we saw on TENAA’s website last week was powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4 GB RAM. However, the one we are looking at today boasts off 6 GB of RAM. Other specs like Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, 5.5-inch Full-HD AMOLED display, 64 GB internal storage, 16 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera and 3000 mAh battery remain the same on the 6 GB RAM variant as well.
The OnePlus 3 was spotted on GFXBench earlier this month with same specs except the screen size was 5-inch instead of 5.5-inch as mentioned on the TENAA listing. All this pretty much confirms that the Chinese company will reveal two variants of OnePlus 3, one with 4 GB RAM and the other with 6 GB RAM.
Expected OnePlus 3 specifications:
- CPU: 2.15 GHz Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor
- RAM: 4/6 GB
- GPU: Adreno 530
- Operating System: Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
- Display: 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display
- Rear Camera: 16 MP with LED flash
- Front Camera: 8 MP
- Internal Storage: 64 GB
- Dimensions: 152.6×74.6×7.3 mm weighing 160 grams
- Battery: 3000 mAh
OnePlus also announced its OnePlus 3 Peer Review program which lets the OnePlus fans get their hands on the OnePlus 3 before anyone else. Any guesses on the pricing of both the variants of OnePlus 3?
