Back at the recently held Galaxy Note II announcement, Samsung had announced that it will release the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphones very soon.
And with the announcement all the owners of the Galaxy S III have been eagerly awaiting the notification to pop up on their smartphone.
And today an official Official Samsung Galaxy S III Jelly Bean update has leaked over the XDA forum and the ROM is dated September 3, while carrying the version number I9300XXDLI1.
Now there was a leak earlier too but that never arrived and this latest build could also mean that Samsung is ready to push the update for the Galaxy S III very soon. The update is expected to arrive as an Over-The-Air (OTA) update so there will be no need for Galaxy S III owners to connect their devices to the PC and use Kies.
Still we can in no way confirm if this is the final build that S III users will see on their smartphone but we hope it does. Also please note that this leaked official ROM is only for the unlocked International version of the Galaxy S III.
