Months after announcing its entry to the Indian smartphone market, Obi Mobiles has launched its first smartphone – the Obi Octopus S520.
Obi Mobiles, which was founded by former Apple CEO, John Sculley, has announced the launch of the Obi Octopus S520 in India. The device has a 5 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an octa core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.7 GHz along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.
The Obi Octopus S520 has an 8 MP rear facing auto focus camera with LED flash. There is also a front facing 2 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android KitKat version with an 1800 mAh battery. The phone has support for dual SIM with 3G connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 11990 and comes bundled with a free flip cover, screen guard and in-ear headset.
