After the NVIDIA Shield tablet had received a positive response despite the issues, the company has now launched the NVIDIA Shield tablet K1.
NVIDIA has announced the launch of the NVIDIA Shield tablet K1, which is the updated version but with an improved design and silicon grips for making it easier to hold. The tablet has an 8 inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The device is powered by the 2.2 GHz quad core NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with the 192 core Kepler GPU and 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.
The NVIDIA Shield tablet K1 has a decent 5 MP rear facing auto focus camera. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Lollipop version with a more powerful 19.75 Watt Hour battery. The tablet is priced at $199.
