While the Inbox by Gmail app is pretty intuitive when it comes to taking notes and setting reminders, Google has now introduced Smart Reply feature for the app.
Google has announced the release of the Smart Reply feature for the Inbox app. The new feature, which is expected to start rolling out to users later this week, would analyse the contents of the email and offer three recommended responses to the user, thus enabling the user to directly reply to an email without requiring to type absolutely anything.
The Smart Reply feature for the Inbox app employs machine learning to recognize emails that need responses and to generate the natural language responses instantly. However, the company reassured on the privacy factor and suggested that it would be entirely machine dependent and that no humans would be reading the emails. It might be just another few days before you get the Smart Reply feature. Do let us know once you get it enabled.
