Nokia has over its Beta Labs announced the beat release of Nokia Xpress for Lumia which is a browser which offers a new way to save data, time and money while you find and enjoy interesting web content for you.
The Nokia Xpress is said ‘to be an advanced, cloud-based internet platform used daily by millions of people around the world to connect to the latest stories & content while automatically optimizing for a better experience and lower data usage.’
Nokia says that the browser compresses data by up to 85% thus using very less of your data plan and in turn also saves your battery charge.
The Finnish giant has packed in a Data usage monitoring tool inside the browser along with a sleek magazine-style RSS reader, and various other nice features like automatic translations and contextual search & more.
User can also save pages for reading them offline or even save a video to their SkyDrive account rather than on the phone’s memory. You can also automatically add tiles to your frequently visited sites on the QuickLinks screen and orders them based on frequency of visit.
Nokia has more in store for Lumia users as it has included the automatic contextual search for you. Just tap on a word that you want to learn more about and Nokia Xpress will discover related content for you.
