After ending the suspense it had been building, Nokia has today officially announced the Nokia Lumia 925 which had already been leaked earlier today.
On first looks, the Nokia Lumia 925 looks just like the Lumia 920 except its way thinner. The Lumia 925 replaces the polycarbonate body with an aluminium casing to make it lighter. The back of the device is however made of polycarbonate. The device has a vibrant 4.5 inch display with a 1280 x 768 pixels resolution.
The Nokia Lumia 925 is powered by a dual core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor along with a 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and an Adreno 225 GPU. The phone has the usual 8.7 MP camera with a Carl Zeiss lens but with even better low light imaging capability. The camera has added features like Best Shot, which picks the best of 10 shots. The device has a front facing 1.2 MP camera.
The Nokia Lumia 925 runs on the Windows Phone 8 and packs in a battery of 2000 mAh. The device will start shipping worldwide in June starting with UK. The smartphone would be priced at 469 euros (~ US $ 616) in Europe.
