While just last week the Google Play music app has been launched for the iOS platform, Nokia has plans to launch its music app, the Nokia Music, on other platforms.
As per a published report, the Nokia Music app is reportedly coming for the Android and iOS platforms. However, the app would be a web app version of the service. Meanwhile there have been rumours about Microsoft, which recently agreed to acquire Nokia, would either close the service or merge it with the Xbox Music service.
While the report doesn’t expressly mention when the Nokia Music app for Android and iOS platform would be launched, Nokia would definitely try to move it out before closing the deal with Microsoft. However with a host of music apps on the Google Play store and the Apple App Store, it is hard to imagine if the app would have any takers as it offers no special features.
