Nokia Lumia Icon or the 929 which has been rumored for quite long is US bound and to be a Verizon exclusive but we are quite sure an international version will make it to the rest of the world. A new video has surfaced that shows the Lumia Icon in action and reports suggest that the device might have already gone on sale in China.
The Lumia Icon for Verizon is said to bring all the beastly specs of the Lumia 1520 in a more compact body with a 5-inch display rather than the huge 6-inch display of the 1520. Recent rumors have suggested a 4.3-inch Lumia 1520V to be in the works too, let’s see how that rumor pans out. So coming back to the Lumia Icon, the video surfaced on YouTube and it shows off the device in all its glory and we quite like the boxy design.

Another report comes from China where the device is already up for sale at an online retailer TaoBao for ¥3800 ($628). The device is shown in live pictures at the retailer’s page and we can clearly see the Verizon’s branding. The specs are also listed, a 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory with a microSD card slot and the 20 MP PureView camera.
With everything about the device revealed, we now await Nokia and Microsoft’s announcement which is said to be getting delayed due to the Microsoft’s Nokia acquisition. Anyways we will keep you posted when Nokia and Microsoft finally unveil the device and we are curious to know about its international sibling as well.
