After much speculation that the Nokia event scheduled on the May 14th would witness the unveiling of the Nokia Lumia 928, the company surprised everyone by officially announcing the smartphone days before the event.
The Nokia Lumia 928, the latest in the Lumia series, is announced exclusively for Verizon Wireless. The smartphone features a 4.5 inch WXGA full HD OLED display. The device is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8960 processor with 1 GB of RAM and a massive 32 GB of internal storage.
The Nokia Lumia 928 is equipped with the Carl Zeiss lens 8.7 MP PureView camera with optical image stabilization. The primary camera has a xenon flash for still images and a LED flash for video. The phone runs on the Windows Phone 8 OS and packs in 2000 mAh battery. The Nokia Lumia 928 is priced at $99 and will be available starting May 16.
