The wait is finally over! After loads of rumors and speculations Nokia has today officially announced the launch of the much-awaited Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone in the Indian subcontinent for prospective buyers. The Lumia 920 goes official alongside the Nokia Lumia 820.
The Nokia Lumia 920 runs on Microsoft’s latest, Windows Phone 8 OS and the smartphone differentiates from its competitor by carrying an excellent 8.7 MP PureView Camera with Carl Zeiss optics which is capable of taking some brilliant low light pictures and also arrives with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
The PureView camera on the Nokia Lumia 920 is able to take in five times more light than competing smartphones without using flash, making it possible to capture clear, bright pictures and video indoors and at night. It also compensates for hand movement while the photo is being taken thanks to the OIS, which is a technique to float elements of the camera.
Nokia Lumia 920’s 4.5-inch screen arrives with a PureMotion HD+ display which is super sensitive and can also be used while wearing your woolen gloves on. The smartphone is powered by a powerful 1.5 GHz processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. The on-board storage is pegged at 32 GB which is not expandable but should be more than enough for users.
