With the Nokia Lumia 1520 bringing a new revolution to Nokia’s Windows Phone range, the company seems to have kept similar devices in store for this year, including the flagship of the year.
According to sources, Nokia is expected to launch two Lumia phablets this year. The first, the Nokia Lumia 1820 with 5.2 inch display, is expected to be announced in March. The other is the Nokia Lumia 1525 with a 6 inch display, which would be launched in September and would be the flagship device. Both the smartphones would be powered by the latest Snapdragon 805 processor along with 3 GB of RAM.
Interestingly, both the Nokia Lumia 1820 and the Lumia 1525 would feature 2K HD display resolution. While Windows Phone has just received support for 1080p resolution, it is surprising to see 2K resolution. This could either mean a new version of Windows Phone OS or at least an update, however no such thing is speculated until March. Further the Snapdragon 805 processors are expected to hit stores only in May. So could these two devices actually be the upcoming Nokia smartphones or just a fading rumour?
