According to the Evleaks, the Nokia Glee handset that has been doing rounds on the net in the past few days, is apparently the Nokia 525 – a successor to the Nokia 520 budget Windows Phone handset.
The Nokia 520 was an immensely successful handset and the secret behind its success is that it is a Windows Phone at a great price. But, Evleaks Twitter account is not the only one buzzing about the Nokia 525 – the same phone has been flashed on the GFXBenchmark site which also gives us a glimpse of the specs – its coming with 1 GHz Dual-core CPU, an Adreno 305 CPU and Windows Phone 8 OS.
The display is a downer though since it will boast of the same 800 x 480p screen on the Lumia 520.
The buzz is that we might see it unveiled at the Nokia World Event in Abu Dhabi on October 22. Two other devices that are already up for an unveil are the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 2520.
