Finally, the moment has arrived. Nokia has taken off the covers off its new line-up of Asha devices. All three Asha devices – the Asha 500, the Asha 502 and the Asha 503 are successors to the company’s Asha 501 smartphone. They will all come in florescent Lumia colors with an icy layer of plastic protection.
The Nokia Asha 500 is the cheapest phone in the line-up, priced at $69 before taxes. It comes with a 2.8-inch display and a 2-megapixel cam. It will come in dual-SIM and single SIM versions. It will hit markets in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East soon.
The Nokia Asha 502 comes with a 3-inch screen, a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash and Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It will come in dual-SIM and single SIM versions. It will hit markets in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East soon for a price of $89.
The Nokia Asha 503 comes with 3.5G connectivity, 3-inch screen, a 5-megapixel camera with LED Flash and Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It will come in dual-SIM and single SIM versions. It will hit markets in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East soon for a price of $99.
There is much that will amaze you about these devices. They build upon their predecessor, the Asha 501. There are many new features on board. You can now take a photo with a single swipe. You can also use a swipe gesture to access the gallery. For social networking, Nokia has added a ‘tap to share’ button. There is also Nimbuzz messenger on board which supports VoIP telephony.
All three phones will boast of Whatsapp connectivity and features like Fastlane alternative homescreen.
