Nokia has today announced the addition of three new full touch S40 based Nokia Asha devices called the Nokia Asha 311, Asha 305 and Asha 306 which were leaked a few times in the early months of this year.
As Nokia says, these devices are great for fast, affordable mobile internet and gaming entertainment on the go with a great capacitive touchscreen experience. These Asha mobiles are designed for the young, urban and social people to get online faster, better and cheaper.
First up is the Nokia Asha 305 which is a dual SIM mobile and arrives with 3 inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen and Nokia’s Easy Swap Dual SIM technology, which allows SIM cards to be swapped without opening up or turning the phone off. This is useful for storing different numbers on your SIMs and for taking advantage of different operator rates.

Next up is the Nokia Asha 306 which is not a dual-SIM feature phone but has Wi-Fi connectivity for easier access to the internet other then the GPRS/EDGE connectivity of the device. It is indeed Nokia’s most affordable Wi-Fi handset device.

Last but not the least is the Nokia Asha 311 which is a little advanced than the other two Nokia Asha phones as this arrives with a 3 inch capacitive touchscreen and has 3.5G connectivity. It also has a powerful 1GHz processor to power the device.

All the three Asha feature phones are powered by the Nokia Browser 2.0 which gives its users easy and fast connectivity to the internet. Also now keeping in touch with friends on Social networks is easier as all the devices come pre-installed with applications for Facebook and Twitter and also email and instant messaging like WhatsApp.
When we speak of gaming on these devices, each phone will come with a gift of 40 free games from EA to download and keep forever. The games will include Tetris, Bejeweled, Need for Speed ™ The Run and EA SPORTS FIFA 12.
