A few days back Nokia had announced that it is going display something new on April 24th, we had already suspected a QWERTY phone. Now it’s confirmed that Nokia has launched a new QWERTY smartphone Asha 210, which is said to be the most social phone till now.
The Nokia Asha 210 has a very small 2.4 inch QVGA display with four rows QWERTY keyboard. The phone has a dedicated WhatsApp button, which can be used for quick access to the instant messaging app. Nokia has partnered with WhatsApp to provide the service free for life on the Asha 210 devices.
The Asha 210 comes in single SIM and dual SIM versions. Though the devices do not support 3G, they have Wi-Fi connectivity along with a Wi-Fi toggle switch. The phone also has a 2 MP camera for the occasional photographs. The device features a 2100 mAh battery which is said to give a stand-by time of nearly 24 days.
The device is expected to be released in the markets towards the end of June. The device is priced at just $72.
