Nokia made a comeback to the smartphone industry by launching the Nokia 3, 5 and 6 Android smartphones in the first two months of this year. While all these three smartphones are budget smartphones, Nokia is working on a flagship smartphone called the Nokia 9. Past leaks already gave us a fair idea of what to expect from this smartphone, however, the Nokia 9 has popped up on AnTuTu today revealing some of its specifications.
The Nokia 9 has popped up on AnTuTu with model number Nokia TA-1004. According to this AnTuTu listing, the Nokia 9 has got Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood which is coupled with 4 GB RAM and backed by Adreno 540 GPU. The unit of Nokia 9 that was benchmarked was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat and has 13 MP dual cameras at the back.
Other details revealed by the AnTuTu listing include 64 GB of internal storage, and, while the size of the display wasn’t mentioned, AnTuTu says that the device has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Having said that, past leaks have hinted at a 5.3-inch display coming with the same resolution.
Also, while the Nokia 9 that has been spotted on AnTuTu has 4 GB RAM, past leaks and rumors making rounds on the Internet suggest that Nokia might launch an 8 GB RAM variant as well.
For now, there’s no word from Nokia or HMD Global about the launch of Nokia 9, however, now that the device has started appearing on the benchmarking websites, we expect it to be unveiled within a month or two.
