Just around a week ago, we came across a report which stated that HMD Global is going to launch Nokia 1, Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 9 (also called Nokia 8 Sirocco) smartphones in India from April onwards. Now, we are coming across yet another report which says that HMD Global is going to launch the Nokia 7+ in India in the latter part of Q2 2018.
According to a report by NokiaPowerUser, HMD Global is going to launch the Nokia 7+ in India in May or June. To be precise, the company is said to launch this yet-to-be-announced smartphone in India at the end of May or in early June.
The Nokia 7+ is expected to be announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) that kicks off in Barcelona, Spain later this month, and, thanks to some recent leaks, we do have an idea of what this phone will look like.
The Nokia 7+ will feature a bezel-less design and have a display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone also has dual camera setup at the back with Zeiss optics, and, below this camera setup is a fingerprint scanner for additional security.
Moreover, the Nokia 7+ is also said to be a part of Android One program. That said, the smartphone had also appeared on a benchmarking website late last month which revealed its key specifications. According to that website, the Nokia 7+ comes with Snapdragon 660 SoC, 4 GB RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo under the hood.
There isn’t much known about the Nokia 7+ right now, but, we will hopefully know more about it next week during MWC where HMD Global is expected to make this smartphone official.
