Recently Nokia has been focussing more on its Asha series instead of the low-end feature phones. However, the company today announced one such handset – the Nokia 225.
Nokia has announced the launch of the Nokia 225 which is touted to be the company’s slimmest and most affordable internet phone till now. The handset is available in single SIM and dual SIM versions, with the latter being targeted towards emerging markets like India. The device has a slim profile with a curved design and a dust and splash proof key mat.
The Nokia 225 has a 2.8 inch LCD display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone has a 2 MP fixed focus camera. The device runs on the Series 30+ OS and comes with Bluetooth 3.0 with Slam sharing feature. The handset comes with a 1200 mAh battery which is said to provide a 21 hours talk time and 36 days standby time. The device is priced at EUR 39 and would be available from the second quarter of 2014.
