The Android KitKat v4.4.4 was released a few weeks back. While most Nexus users were provided with factory images of the update, for those who still haven’t updated their devices, the update is now being pushed to the device over the air.
Google has starting pushing the Android KitKat v4.4.4 update to the Nexus 5 device in India. The update bearing the code Android v4.4.4_r2 is apparently a special update pushed only to users in India, Australia and New Zealand. The update is said to address some network connectivity issues faced by the users in this region by installing a completely new radio image.
Currently the Android v4.4.4_r2 is being pushed to a very few users, but all Nexus 5 users can expect the update by the next week Over the Air (OTA). If you cannot wait long enough for the update to be pushed to your device, you can download the update from the official source link below and manually install it.
