Nextbit Robin is all set to make its debut in India on May 25. It was expected to be launched last month but somehow the launch was delayed.
Nextbit has started sending out press invites for the launch of Robin in India. The launch event which is held on May 25 will commence at 11.30 am. It will take place at Monkey Bar in New Delhi. CEO Tom Moss and Head of India Operations Shankar Parasaram will also be present at the launch event.
As far as the specs are concerned, the Nextbit Robin packs Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor and 3 GB RAM under the hood. The graphics department is managed by Adreno 418 GPU. Apart from that, the Robin boasts off a 5.2-inch Full-HD display and features a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. Keeping this package running through the day is a 2680 mAh battery.
Talking about storage, the Nextbit Robin has 32 GB of internal storage on board. Nextbit also provides 100 GB cloud storage ensuring you never run out of storage. A software on the phone decides what is stored on the internal storage of the phone and what goes in the cloud storage. The Robin received Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update last month so we should expect it to be running on Android Marshmallow out of the box.
As of now, there’s no information regarding the pricing and availability of Nextbit Robin in India. But, we need not wait much as all those details will be provided during the launch event which is scheduled next week.
