Japanese mobile handset makers NEC, has unveiled a promising handset. The MEDIAS N-6C is one hell of a looker. It is just 7.9mm thick running Android Gingerbread and has IPX5 and IPX7 specifications which means that the handset can resist water jet splashes or even withstand being submerged in a meter of water. It doesn’t end here, the phone packs a nice hardware including 1GHz CPU with 512MB RAM, a 4 inch FWVGA screen with Gorilla Glass, a 5MP camera with 720p video capture, a microSD card slot and Wi-Fi b/g/n. Seems all good, so when can you buy one? Well, almost never, because it seems that the sleek looking phone is only available in the Japanese Market for now.
