Yesterday we showed you a leaked image and also some rumoured specs of the upcoming Lumia 610 smartphone. Well, today we it’s all official. Nokia has today announced the Lumia 610 which will be the cheapest Windows Phone out there.
The hardware is something that you would find on a budgeted smartphone which means it pushes the Windows Phone platform to an affordable range. The smartphone will have an 800MHz processor, 256MB of RAM, a 3.7 inch display with 800×480 pixels resolution, a 5MP camera, 8GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HSUPA and HSPDA connectivity, microUSB, and of course it will run on Windows Phone 7.5 Tango.
It’s a neat looking device and seems that Nokia has been bang-on with bringing Windows Phone to the affordable range. No confirmation on the pricing, but the availability of the device will be Q2 2012.
