With the increasing demand for high speed internet services, MTS has announced the roll out of the 3GPLUS network in India.
Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), that operates in India as MTS, has started rolling out the 3GPLUS telecom network across all its 9 operating circles which include Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh (West) and West Bengal. The 3GPLUS service is based on the Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Rev. B Phase II technology and offers blazing fast internet speeds.
MTS, which had just received the third carrier from the Department of Telecom (DoT), has quickly used the spectrum to launch the 3GPLUS service in India, making it the first in the country. Simultaneously, the service provider has also introduced the MBlaze Ultra dongle which provides speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps for Rs. 1299. The customers can avail the bundled plans which provide 5 GB unlimited internet for 1 month for Rs. 798 on prepaid and Rs. 700 for post-paid connection.
