Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) or better known as MTS India has launched the most affordable Android smartphones; the MTS MTAG 3.1 and the MTS Livewire. The handsets were launched at the “IndiaOn” event held yesterday at New Delhi. Both are priced in the sub Rs. 5000 category and run on the CDMA EV-DO Rev A. technology supporting high quality voice and net enabled data services. Both of the handsets are powered by Qualcomm’s S1 processors that provide complete solutions that adapt to real-time demands, so users can do everything while ensuring extended battery life.

MTS MTAG 3.1 From Huawei
The MTS MTAG 3.1 comes with a 2.8 inch capacitive touch-screen 240×320 pixels display. Supporting Multi-format Audio/Video player with 3.5mm jack, MTS MTAG 3.1 is packed with a 3.2 megapixel camera. The phone also has the MTS TV application allowing its users on the go access to Live TV and On demand video playback. MTS MTAG 3.1 provides easy access to Google Mail, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps.
MTS Livewire From ZTE
MTS Livewire has a 2.8 inch display and a 3MP camera. It runs on the CDMA EV-DO network providing access to Hi Speed Internet. The Smartphone provides easy access to Google Mail, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps.
Both the handsets run on Qualcomm’s 600MHz processors and have Android 2.2 Froyo embedded.
