With the mobile data adoption rates in India increasing exponentially, MTS has launched its new smartphone – the MTS Blaze 5.0 which comes bundled with data.
Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), which operates in India as MTS, has announced the launch of the MTS Blaze 5.0, which is a dual SIM Android smartphone with EVDO + GSM SIM configuration. The handset is apparently targeted to the internet-obsessed users who like to use their smartphones as a web tool.
The MTS Blaze 5.0 has a 5 inch display and is powered by the quad core Snapdragon S4 processor. The phone is equipped with a rear facing 8 MP camera and a front facing VGA camera. The device runs on the Android Jelly Bean version along with a 2500 mAh battery that is said to last for 9.5 hours on a single charge.
The MTS Blaze 5.0 is priced at Rs. 10999 and would be available in all the 9 circles that MTS operates in, which includes Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, UP West, West Bengal and Kolkata. The handset would come bundled with a MTS SIM that would offer users 100000 MB of data with one year validity on the first recharge of Rs. 198.
