Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited has today announced the introduction of two new landline plans for its users in its Mumbai telecom circle.
The two plans introduced by MTNL are Landline Plan 550 and Only incoming Plan 179 which will be available for MTNL users to opt in for.
First up, the Plan 550 will allow MTNL users in Mumbai telecom circle to make Unlimited free calls to other MTNL numbers within the Mumbai circle at any time of the day. And along with it, MTNL will also allow users to enjoy 100 calls free to another network in the particular billing cycle.
All calls beyond the free call limit to other networks will be chargeable at Rs. 1.10 per pulse. The monthly rental for this plan is Rs. 550.
Next up is the only incoming plan priced at Rs. 179 which will allow MTNL landline users to only have only incoming call facility on their landline and will not be allowed to make outgoing calls.
This plan would be useful for users who do not use many outgoing calls from their landline but still want the incoming facility on it.
