Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) today launched its much awaited third generation 3G mobile services in Mumbai. MTNL Mumbai 3G tariff plans starts from Rs.250 per month at very affordable entry cost.MTNL’s Chairman and Managing Director R.S.P Sinha gave a demonstration during the launch and he also cited that 3G service will be also available for postpaid Dolphin customer as well as prepaid Trump customers.
To take the a taste of MTNL Mumbai’s 3G Jadu services, any of Mobile subscriber can take a ‘3G Trial Pack.’ For Rs. 99, Where they can use this trial pack for 15 days with data download up to 50 MB of data. Any of excess data usage beyond this, it will cost the Rs. 3 per MB.
The customer can subscribe to any of the existing MTNL Dolphin 2G plans for Voice and SMS being offered by MTNL Mumbai. Along with this they can subscribe to MTNL Mumbai 3G Jadu services as an addon, the tariff details of which are given below-
1. MTNL Mumbai 3G Plan-250-:Monthly Rent Rs.250 with Free Data usage 500 MB and 50 FREE Video call to own Net.After Free usage data charges Rs.3 per MB.
2. MTNL Mumbai 3G Plan-450-:Monthly Rent Rs.450 with Free Data usage 200 MB and 100 FREE Video call to own Net.After Free usage data charges Rs.3 per MB.
3. MTNL Mumbai 3G Plan-750-:Monthly Rent Rs.750 with Free Data usage 1 GB and 150 FREE Video call to own Net.After Free usage data charges Rs.3 per MB.
4. MTNL Mumbai Unlimited 3G Plan-2500-:Monthly Rent Rs.2500 with Unlimited Data usage and 300 FREE Video call to own Net.
New customer can get 3G SIM Card by paying Rs. 300. and Cost of Local video Calls On MTNL network: Rs. 1.80/min.Customer will have to pay Rs. 3/min for calls on other networks.
STD and ISD video calls will cost Rs. 3.75/min and Rs. 30/min respectively.
