Soon after releasing the latest Android Lollipop version, Motorola has now started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update to its users.
Motorola has started rolling out the official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style in India and in Brazil. The update, which weighs in at around 650 MB, has update number v24.11.18.en.03 and also includes patches for stagefright vulnerabilities. The update is being rolled out gradually over-the-air (OTA) and is expected to reach all users in the next few days. The company also revealed that the Moto X would be receiving the update very soon.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style adds in a lot of new features including the Memory Manager that lets you check memory usage of all your installed apps, the do not disturb button and the System UI Tuner. It also has the Google Now on Tap, which offers contextual information to be delivered based on content on your screen with a long press of the home key.
