Motorola had made its re-entry to the smartphone market with its affordable smartphone line-up. Now the company seems to be working on a compact handset with high-end specs.
According to sources, Motorola is currently working on the Moto M smartphone which is expected to be released in a few weeks. The handset, which bears model number Motorola XT1663, is said to be a unique offering with an affordable pricing. While the device reportedly packs in hardware seen in the 2016 line-up, it is said to employ the design from the 2014 Moto line-up.
Rumours suggest that the Moto M smartphone would flaunt a compact 4.6 full HD display and would be powered by the octa core MediaTek processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Also expected is a 16 MP rear facing camera and a front facing 8 MP camera. Interestingly, the handset may also have a fingerprint scanner on the back.
