Yesterday we told you that Motorola might unveil its flagship smartphone Moto Z2 on June 27. Well, we still don’t know the date of launch of the Moto Z2, however, thanks to its AnTuTu listing, we now know what kind of specifications it will have.
According to this AnTuTu listing, the Moto Z2 is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC which is laced with 4 GB RAM and backed by Adreno 540 GPU. It runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and has 64 GB of internal storage. The Moto Z2 also has a 12 MP camera at the back along with a 5 MP camera on the front.
Also, while the size of the screen on the Moto Z2 isn’t revealed, the AnTuTu listing does reveal that it will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. As is with AnTuTu, the information about the battery on the Moto Z2 wasn’t revealed.
This isn’t the first time that the Moto Z2 has popped up on a benchmarking website though. It was spotted on Geekbench earlier this month and the listing revealed Snapdragon 835 and 4 GB RAM under the hood. Besides, the invite that has been sent out by Motorola for its June 27 event shows a Motorola smartphone with dual camera setup at its back, and, that smartphone is said to be the Moto Z2. Yes, needless to say, what that means is we should expect it to come with dual cameras at its back.
Motorola has already launched quite a few smartphones in this month, and, this Lenovo owned company is expected to launch the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force as well in this month. For now, we are not sure if Motorola will unveil only the Moto Z2 on June 27 or will also unveil the Z2 Force. Rather, if Motorola will unveil either of these smartphones on June 27 at all. However, as we said, the invite shows a smartphone with dual camera setup, hence, expect it to be a flagship, which again would either be the Z2 or Z2 Force.
