After announcing the Moto Z last year, it seems the company is working on its successor called the Moto Z2. Motorola already unveiled the Moto Z2 Play last week, however, the Moto Z2 would be the flagship smartphone from Motorola for this year, and, it has made its appearance on a benchmarking website while revealing its key specifications.
The Moto Z2 has popped up on Geekbench, and, the listing reveals Snapdragon 835 SoC under the hood which is laced with 4 GB RAM. The tested device was running Android 7.1.1 Nougat while it was getting benchmarked, and, we expect it to be running the same version of Android at the time of launch.
The Moto Z2 made a score of 1879 and 6503 points in Geekbench’s single and multi-core test respectively. As always, there aren’t much details available on the Geekbench listing, however, past rumors have indicated that the device might come with a dual camera setup at the back. Well, more and more manufacturers are offering smartphones with dual camera setups, either at the back or on the front, hence, we won’t be surprised if Motorola does the same with its Z2.
There’s no word from Motorola yet regarding the Z2, hence, we will have to wait until this Lenovo owned company has some information for us. In the meantime, we are pretty sure to come across some leaks on the Internet which would reveal some aspects of the Moto Z2.
