Motorola unveiled the Moto Z and Moto Z Force last month. The Moto Z is the successor to the Moto X, while the Moto Z Force is the successor to the Moto X Force. While both these devices were unveiled, there was one more device expected to be announced – the Moto Z Play. However, there’s still not much information available about the Moto Z Play, it seems the company has imported it in India for testing purposes.
The Motorola device imported in India has Canada as the country of origin and is listed as Motorola Vertex on Zauba. Keep in mind that Moto Z Play is codenamed Vertex, so it’s very possible that this device is indeed the Moto Z Play.
There aren’t much details available on the Zauba listing, except that the device carries a 5.5-inch display and supports single SIM. It’s worth noting though that the device was spotted on Geekbench last month and was powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC with 3 GB RAM and was running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
There’s one more device that has been imported in India along with the Moto Z Play. That device is none other than the Moto G4 Play. It also supports single SIM but has 5-inch display.
