Motorola unveiled its modular smartphone Moto Z in June this year. And now, the company is all set to launch the device in India next month.
Motorola launched the Moto E3 Power earlier this week in India, and now, the Lenovo owned company will be bringing its flagship device to the country next month as the festive season kicks off.
The India launch has been confirmed by Mr. Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director, Mobile Business Group at Lenovo India. “We will launch 8 new devices, of which six we have already announced, in this festive season… This includes the Moto Z” said Mr. Mathur.
The Moto Z is powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC which is paired with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It features a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display which is backed by a 2600 mAh battery. The device boots up to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and comes with 32 GB of internal storage.
The Moto Z sports a 13 MP camera on the back and a 5 MP camera on the front. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner which is housed on the home button. There’s no 3.5 mm jack on the device so you will have to make use of USB Type-C port to plug in your earphones.
There are Moto Mods which can be used with the Moto Z. Those include Moto Insta-Share Projector, JBL SoundBoost, Moto Shells and instant Power Pack. While Lenovo has confirmed that it will be bringing Moto Z to India next month, no exact date is provided.
