The Moto Z2 Play will not be the only spectacular smartphone from Motorola this year. The modular smartphone has already gone public, now it is time for the next high-end Motorola handset to be in the news. Actually, the Lenovo-owned company is planning for three devices to hit the market soon. One of them is the Moto Z2 Force which will be a beefed up version of the Moto Z2 Play. The other is the Moto G5S Plus. And lastly, the Moto X4.
We have some details concerning the Moto X4 today. According to Andi Yatim(@HeyAndri), the Moto X4 will be launched on June 30. The leakster has a history of posting Motorola leaks. This suggests it might hold some water.

Apart from the date, he spilled some numbers related to specs. The leakster said that the Moto X4 will harbor the Snapdragon 660 SoC, and a big 3,800 mAh battery capable of fast charging via USB Type-C. More interestingly, the device will be waterproof up to 1.5m for 30 minutes i.e. IP68 rated. The icing on the cake will be the dual camera on the rear and the glass back. Now, that is a very strong spec sheet. Needless to say, the device isn’t modular like the Moto Z2 Play, which means you don’t get to add Moto Mods.
Motorola also has a launch event scheduled for June 21 in Brazil. It will be interesting to see which smartphone gets revealed there. The price of the Moto X4 is expected to be around $325.
