While we have been hearing quite a few rumours about the successor to the popular Moto G, new information about the Moto X+1 has surfaced today.
The Moto X+1, which is the successor to the flagship Moto X, was spotted at benchmarking site. The handset, which has model number XT 1097, is apparently powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.46 GHz and not the Snapdragon 800 as rumoured previously. Thus we can expect the flagship to truly pack some power and not just be an incremental update.
Further, the benchmarking site also confirms that the Moto X+1 sports a 5.2 inch display with full HD resolution. The phone is expected to have 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB storage on-board. Other than that, we can also expect a decent 12 MP rear facing camera along with a 5 MP front facing camera. The smartphone is expected to be announced sometime soon.
