While Motorola unveiled the flagship Moto X Style flagship, the company has also launched the flagship companion – the Moto X Play.
Motorola has announced the launch of the Moto X Play, which is the company’s latest smartphone in the Moto X series with a long lasting battery. The device has a 5.5 inch LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the octa core Snapdragon 615 processor along with 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB storage options.
The Moto X Play has a 21 MP rear facing auto focus camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the latest Android Lollipop version with and has 4G LTE support. The smartphone is equipped with a 3630 mAh battery, which the company claims would offer up to 48 hours of battery life with mixed use and comes with the Motorola TurboPower 25 Charger that will offer quick charge within minutes.
