Yesterday we saw couple of leaked images of the Moto G5 which showed off the metal body of the device. Well today, render of the Moto G5 Plus has leaked, and, this one is said to be the one for Verizon.
This render is leaked by Evan Blass, who shared it on Twitter by tweeting “Moto G5 Plus for Verizon“. Design wise, there’s nothing new to talk about here. It’s in line with the past leaks. You can see that the square-shaped fingerprint scanner has departed. The Moto G5 too has similarly shaped fingerprint scanner which is said to support gestures and mimic the actions of on-screen navigation buttons. Well, it’s quite possible that the G5 Plus too will have these gestures.
The homescreen on this render shows April 3 as the date, so we guess that as this is the Verizon variant, the carrier will start selling it from April 3 in the US. Also, even though this is said to be the Verizon variant, the carrier’s branding is not visible on the device.
