Motorola has scheduled an event on May 17 in New Delhi, the capital of India. While Motorola hasn’t revealed as to which devices are going to be launched, the Moto G4 and G4 Plus are very much expected to debut that day. Out of these two, the Moto G4 has been spotted on Geekbench revealing the SoC and the amount of RAM it has.
The Moto G4 has scored 719 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 3076 in multi-core test. The Moto G4 is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is powered by Snapdragon 617 SoC which is paired with 3 GB RAM.
Live images of Moto G4 has surfaced online last month. The images showed off a square shaped physical home button on the device which also houses a fingerprint scanner. There’s also a mic to the left of this fingerprint scanner. Also, this is the first time ever that a Moto G will come with a physical home button and a fingerprint scanner. At the back side is the Motorola logo along with primary camera and LED flash. Above the camera are two dots which might be for laser auto-focus.
Also, the yet to be announced Moto G4 and G4 Plus will be sold exclusively on Amazon India. The event is just three days away so guess we don’t have to wait much to get all the details of these upcoming devices.
