After several leaks and rumours, Motorola has finally unveiled the next generation Moto G4 smartphone at a huge gathering in New Delhi.
Motorola has announced the launch of the Moto G4 Plus, which is the company’s latest premium addition to the popular Moto G series flaunting a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Home button. The device has a 5.5 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa core Snapdragon 617 processor and is available in two variants – one with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage and the other with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
The Moto G4 has a 16 MP rear facing auto focus camera with 1.3um pixel size, OmniVision sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Laser AF, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a front facing 5 MP camera. The device runs on the Android Marshmallow version with a 3000 mAh battery with Turbo Charge. The phone has dual SIM support with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. The handset is priced at Rs. 13499 for the 2 GB variant and Rs. 14999 for the 3 GB variant. The device would be available exclusively on Amazon.
