While the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus have been garnering amazing sales in India, Motorola seems to be gearing up with an affordable variant – the Moto G4 Play.
According to reports, a couple of Motorola handsets bearing model number XT 1607 have been spotted while being imported into India. The handset is said to be the Motorola Moto G4 Play. A total of 14 pieces were imported into the country, each declared at Rs. 6804 for custom purposes. The listing only reveals that the device has a 5 inch display.
Meanwhile, the source suggests that the Moto G4 Play is expected to be launched in India in the next few days and would retail at Rs. 8999. The device is said to sport a 5 inch HD display and would be powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Also expected is an 8 MP rear camera and a front facing 5 MP camera.
