After many unexpected delays, the much awaited Moto G handset has been launched in India. More interestingly, the pricing is kept on lines with the international pricing, thus still making it one of the affordable smartphones in the country.
Motorola in association with its exclusive online retail partner, Flipkart, has officially launched the Moto G in India. The affordable handset is priced at Rs. 12499 for the 8 GB version and Rs. 13999 for the 16 GB version. As part of the launch, Flipkart has announced some special offers on the purchase of the device.
The Moto G has a decent 4.5 inch display which is protected by the Gorilla glass 3. The display has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels which offer a very high density of 329 ppi. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 or 16 GB of internal storage. The handset comes loaded with the Android v4.3 with the Android v4.4 update expected soon.
