With the recently announced Moto G expected to be launched in India by January, an online shopping portal has started selling the device in the country.
The Moto G, which is the affordable mid-range smartphone that was launched last month, is now available for purchase in India through an online shopping portal ShopYourWorld. The budget smartphone which is priced at $179 in US, is available for Rs. 15137 for the 8 GB version and Rs. 17089 for the 16 GB version, which is about Rs. 5000 off the mark.
The Moto G has a 4.5 inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1 GB of RAM. There is also a 5 MP rear facing camera besides a front facing 1.3 MP camera. The smartphone comes loaded with the Android v4.3, which is upgradeable to Android v4.4 KitKat. The device is expected to be launched officially in January, hopefully at a lower pricing.
