It has been just a week since the affordable Moto G was launched in India. Keeping its promise for regular updates, the Android v4.4.2 update has been pushed to devices in the country.
Motorola has started rolling out the Android v4.4.2 KitKat update to the Moto G devices in India. The update comes after Motorola had mentioned that the latest Android version would be available within a few weeks after the launch. The update (v 171.44.31.en.03) measures 230.7 MB and is available over the air.
The Android v4.4.2 update for the Moto G adds the new Phone dialler app and integrated SMS/MMS support for the Google Hangouts. The update also brings a fresh look to the status and navigation bars. There are also added camera features like manual focus and locked exposure. The update adds support for printing photos and other content via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
