Last month, we got our first look at the Moto E5 as its press render leaked online. Later on, we also got to take a look at Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 Play, Moto X5, Moto Z3, and, the Moto Z3 Play smartphones. Well now, we are looking at yet another Motorola smartphone – the Moto E5 Play.
Press render of the Moto E5 Play has been leaked online by popular leakster Evan Blass. According to him, the Moto E5 Play will be sold through Verizon Wireless. However, it will be also sold as Moto E5 Cruise on Cricket Wireless.
The leaked render revel that both these smartphones are running stock Android, which isn’t actually surprising, as Motorola smartphones launched last year were also running stock Android. That said, you can also notice front-facing flash above the display, and, Motorola logo below it. Besides, you can also see the volume rocker and power button at the right side of the devices.
Having said that, there’s no fingerprint scanner at the front on both these Motorola smartphones. For those unaware, the Moto E4 that was launched in June last year came with a fingerprint scanner on the front below the display. On Moto E5, it said to be at the back with Moto logo above it. Hence, we are expecting the Moto E5 Play to also have the fingerprint scanner at the back.
There’s no information on when the Moto E5 Play, which is the first Play variant in Moto E series, will be launched. However, if the date on the homescreen of these renders is anything to go by, then we can expect Motorola to unveil these devices on April 3.
