In what may come as a pleasant surprise for all Motorola users, the company has started rolling out the latest Android KitKat 4.4.4 update. Just that, they started with their low-end handsets first.
Motorola has officially announced on Twitter that it has started rolling out the Android KitKat 4.4.4 update to its users in India. The update, which is available over the air (OTA) is currently being pushed to the low-end Moto E devices only. However, Motorola claims that the Moto G would be soon getting the update, followed by the Moto X (No specific reason for the reverse order).
The new update will jump directly to Android KitKat 4.4.4 from the current KitKat 4.4.2, skipping the KitKat 4.4.3 update, which apparently was susceptible to some security bugs. The update has mostly bug fixes for the various security issues reported. Other than that, there are a few minor UI tweaks with an improved camera. If you own a Moto E, go check if you’ve received the update. Moto G and Moto X users may have to wait slightly longer.
