Motorola has scheduled an event for Tuesday, where we expect the company to unveil an entry level Android smartphone in the form of Moto E. We recently came across a live picture of the Moto E, which compared it with the highly successful Moto G and now, we have leaked press renders of the device along with some specs.
Thanks to Brazilian retailer, Fast Shop, we get to see the device in all its glory and we also come to know its specs. Moto E is listed on the retailers website and the device will come in some cool colors like Turquoise and Lemon along with the usual Black and White.
The device features the model number XT1025. The device also seems to feature dual frontal speakers. According to the listing, the device will feature a 4.3-inch display with Gorilla Glass, the resolution is not known but we expect it to come with qHD or WVGA, considering it’s rumored to be a sub-$100 device. It is said to be powered by a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor.
The amount of RAM is not known but the internal storage is listed at 4 GB with microSD expandability. There’s a 5 MP rear camera with no flash and there’s also no front facing camera. The device will come with dual-SIM functionality to cater to the emerging markets and it’ll run Android 4.4 KitKat.
The device sounds good enough for the price it will supposedly cater to. Motorola has had great success with the Moto G and with the Moto E, they should get huge traction in the emerging markets. The Moto E is set to be unveiled on Tuesday and as always we’ll bring you all the news from there so stay tuned!
