Just days after the Motorola smartphone with three variants surfaced, reports now suggest that one of them would release as the Moto E, which is quite similar to the widely popular Moto G.
According to sources, the Moto E, which has surfaced in Mexico, is an budget smartphone from Motorola with specs quite similar to the Moto G, but with a thinner profile measuring just 6.2 mm. the device is said to be priced at around $230 off-contract, which somewhat in the same price range as the Moto G, and would be targeted towards the emerging markets including India.
Sources believe that the Moto E would sport a 4.3 inch display with 720p resolution. The device is expected to be powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. Also expected in the latest Android KitKat version. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, the handset is expected to be announced in May.
