While we just saw the Philips launch a phone designed for the senior citizens, Mitashi has launched a smartphone for the same category.
Mitashi has announced the launch of the Mitashi PLAY Senior Friend, the company’s latest Android smartphone designed keeping in mind the senior citizens who are sceptical of using phones. The handset come in a special see-through box that enables the prospective customers to have a proper look of the design of the phone before purchasing it and without opening it.
The Mitashi PLAY Senior Friend has a 4 inch display. The smartphone is powered by an entry-level 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The phone runs on the Android KitKat version and comes with a large font dialer, large font for storing contacts and reading messages, FM radio, and SOS button for emergencies. The handset is priced at Rs. 4999.
