Windows Phone 8.1 leaks are not stopping anytime soon. There have been a plethora of leaks and well, we have lost count. One of the most anticipated features of Windows Phone 8.1 is the Cortana voice assistant which is supposed to be Microsoft’s answer to Apple’s Siri and Android’s Google Now. We have already had a detailed look on Cortana along with screenshots leaking recently and today, we get to see Cortan live in action.
The video shows Cortana running on a Nokia Lumia 920, which means Windows Phone 8.1 should run fine on most Windows Phone 8 devices. We get to see the animated Cortana icon which looks pretty cool. We get to see the questions Cortana asks when you start it up for the very firs time. There are a variety of question it asks to know more about you, so that it could bring you more contextual notifications. We also get to see the ‘Quiet hours’ feature which is similar to iOS’ Do not disturb feature. Check out the video below:
We don’t get to hear the lovely voice of Cortana. It seems either muted or it does not speak as of now for the beta build. Since April is still a long way to go, we are sure to know more about Cortana in the coming weeks and also about Windows Phone 8.1. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
